<h1>Leonard Ellis</h1> 1919 – 2009 Leonard Gordon Ellis passed away, suddenly, at Pinehaven Retirement Residence, Waterloo on Thursday, December 3, 2009, just two days before his 90th birthday. Leonard was a veteran of the Second World War and a Mutual Life retiree. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 2009; parents, John and Mabel Ellis; sister, Pauline Bauman; brother, Ervin Ellis; and a sister in infancy. Loving father of Rosemary and Peter Cadiou of Cambridge, Charles and Ruth Ellis of Waterloo, Sharon and Norman Raycraft of Barrie and step-father of Robert and Sandy Morewood of Windsor. Dear grandfather of Robyn Cadiou, Brian and Corrine Ellis, Bradley and Erin Ellis, Sarah and Jon Bastien, Kristi Gayowsky, and five great-grandchildren. Remembered by Peggy and Bob Power of Leisureworld, Elmira. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Leonard during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, December 6 from 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
