<h1>Alexander Galloway</h1> 1925 – 2007 Alex passed away, peacefully, at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre, on Saturday, December 29, 2007, in his 83rd year. Dearly loved husband of Ann Galloway for 57 years. Devoted and loving father of Cathy Pansolin (Joe) of Waterloo, Nancy Phelan (John) of Oakville and Julie Galloway of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Michael (predeceased April, 2007), Andrew, Connor, Madeline, and Catherine. Alex retired from Eaton’s after 46 years of service. He was an avid golfer and member of New Dundee Golf and Country Club. Alex was also a member and elder at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Kitchener for many years. Above all, Alex will be remembered as a wonderful father and fun-loving grandfather. He has left his family a tremendous legacy in appreciating the importance of family. The family would like to thank the attentive, caring staff at Columbia Forest for making the last chapter of Alex’s life as comfortable as possible. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Alex’s life will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 1 pm with Rev. Allan Rudy-Froese officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
