Passed away peacefully, at A. R. Goudie Eventide Home, Kitchener, on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at age 97.
Viola was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church and Friendship Circle.
Beloved wife of the late Clyde Chapin; loved mother of Nancy Yantzi (Elwood); loving grandmother of Susan Billings (Mark) and Michael Yantzi; great-grandmother of Jesse; dear sister of Donald Mikel (Hazel), Harry Mikel, and Ruby Shantz.
Predeceased by four sisters, Edna, Gertrude, Helen, and Florence and one brother, Edwin.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Viola with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1p.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
