<h1>Robert 'Bob" Lohnes</h1> 1933 – 2008 Bob went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly, at his home in St. Jacobs on Friday, December 26, 2008, at the age of 75. Bob will be missed and remembered by many friends and relatives. Especially, by his beloved wife of 54 years, June (nee Roberts); son, Randy and wife Rita and their children, Stephanie and Spencer (Kitchener), daughter, Nancy Schwindt and husband Todd and their children Ben and Julia (Waterloo). Remembered by his siblings, Wayne Lohnes, Shirley Rehkopf, Helen Rossi, and Rev. Vince Lohnes. He was a member of the Independent Insurance Brokers of Canada, Rotary Club of Kitchener, past President of the Conestogo Lake Cottagers’ Association and an honoured life-time member of Landscape Ontario (Waterloo Chapter). As a Lutheran, Bob was a member of St. Peter’s of Heidelberg and St. James of St. Jacobs. He received his education in Kitchener at K.C.I. and Lasalle Extension University (Chicago, U.S.A.). He was employed with Canada Health and Accident Assurance Company, Dale &amp; Co. of Toronto, and H.L. Staebler Co. Ltd. of Kitchener before establishing his own company Robert S. Lohnes Insurance Agencies (Lohnes &amp; Associates) in 1983. The family will receive friends at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, December 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, December 29, 2008 from 1 to 1:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m, Monday with Rev. Harold Brill officiating. A reception will immediately be held after the service at the funeral home.
