Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on December 25, 2008, at age 79.
Beloved wife of Bob Powell; dear mother of Sharon and Doug Churchill, Karen Smith and Bill Hansen, Marilyn and Silvio Favaro, Wendy and Lou Durante, and Susan Smith and Ward Kratzer; grandmother of David, Charlene, Tim, Tony, Cindy, Eric, and Carly, and seven great-grandchildren; loved sister-in-law of Pauline and Ed Nowak.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Laura with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, January 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack Paleczny officiating. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
