<h1>Maria Borja</h1> 1927 – 2008 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Sunday, December 21, 2008, at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her loving children, Lilian (Peter) Koeberle of Kitchener, Ivan (Patricia) Borja and Sergio (Maria Louisa) Borja all of Montreal, her beloved grandchildren, Paulo D. (Michelle), Erich R. (Kate), Diego (Caitlin), Veronique, Rafael, Erika, Monika and her blessed great-grandchildren, Nevin and Brayden. Predeceased by her husband Sergio Borja. Maria was a current employee at the Waterloo Inn and passed away just prior to celebrating her 20 year anniversary of employment. She was a faithful member of the C.W.L. and a parishioner of both Blessed Sacrament and St. Mary’s RC Churches. Friends are invited to share their memories of Maria with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener, on Wednesday, December 24, at 10:30 am with the Rev. Malcolm Katzenberger as Celebrant. Cremation will follow and a private family interment will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the wonderful nurses of I.C.U. at Grand River for their excellent care and compassion shown to Maria.
