<h1>Delton "Del" Kissner</h1> 1921 – 2008 Passed away on December 19, 2008, at Lanark Heights, into the arms of our good and gracious God. Del was born 87 years ago, son of the late Tillie and Fred Kissner. Beloved husband of Lyla Beth (Betty) (Torrance) Kissner. Dear father of Jovie (Rob) Allison, Jane Kissner and Penny Winkler. Also remembered by Gary Winkler. Papa and Grandpa to Katie and Beth Allison, Jeff and Jansen Winkler, Jennifer Emery and Jessica Koechl. Also great-grandfather of three. For many years Del and his brother, Fred Jr. owned and operated Kissner Milling Co. Ltd. Del served for over 40 years as a municipally-elected member of the Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Commission (Kitchener P.U.C.). Del also owned and trained thoroughbred and standardbred horses, and for eight years was a car salesman at Forbes Motors. Del was predeceased by his sister Marjorie Hurlbut and brother Fred Kissner, Jr. A private family funeral was held Monday, December 22, 2008. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau.
