<h1>Wilfred Furzer</h1> 1919 – 2007 Wilfred passed away, peacefully, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, on Monday, December 17, 2007, at the age of 88. Predeceased by his wife Ivy (nee Dale) in 2000, infant son Donald, mother Florence LeSouder, father George Furzer, three brothers, George, Clifford and Charles and a sister Eunice Collver. Lovingly remembered by his children, Ivy Scott (Walter), Edith Miners, David Furzer (Susan), Elaine McKenzie (Bill), all of Kitchener, and Patricia Tanji (Todd) of Minnesota. Fondly remembered by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Marcella Bryans of Windsor, Rozella Williamson of Burlington, and Jack Furzer of New Brunswick. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born September 30, 1919 in Stratford, Wilfred proudly served his country overseas during the Second World War with the Perth Regiment of Stratford. He was a 60 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion, having served as President of the Waterloo Branch, 530 from 1976-1977. Visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Tuesday, December 18 from 7-9 and on Wednesday, December 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo with a reception following at the funeral home.
