1931 - 2007
Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, December 15, 2007.
George is survived by his sons, Sam (Sue) Counter, Gary Counter, and Brian Counter and his daughter Sharon Rogers all of Calgary. He is also survived by his sisters, Josephine (John) Buchanan of Inverhuron, Connie (Bernie) Baetz of Waterloo, and Audrey Govier of Owen Sound as well as his long time friend Leigh Wofford of Kitchener. George was predeceased by his daughter, Heather Mercer; his parents, Samuel and Ida Mae Counter; his brother, Morris Counter and his brother-in-law, Clarence Hodge.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at Harriston Cemetery in the spring.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Meadowcroft Place for their care and compassion over the years.
