<h1>Sally Zuber</h1> SALOME MONICA 1917 – 2007 Sally passed away, peacefully, at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo, on Thursday, December 13, 2007. Sally celebrated her 90th birthday on September 8, 2007. She was the youngest daughter of the late William and Marian (Steffler) Zuber and was also predeceased by two sisters, Rita Isley and Georgina Elchert Braniff and brothers-in-law, Theodore Isley, Eric Elchert and John Braniff. Having spent her early years on the Zuber homestead in the Maryhill area, Sally moved to Columbia Street in Waterloo in 1954 where she resided for 53 years. She enjoyed her “return” to the Maryhill area earlier this year when she moved into the Countryside Retirement Residence near Maryhill. With her sister Georgina, Sally worked for 32 years at Merchant’s Rubber. While living in Waterloo, Sally was a faithful parishioner at St. Michael’s RC Church in Waterloo and most recently returned to St. Boniface RC Church in Maryhill. Sally’s life was centred around her niece and nephews, Maryanne (Paul) Grobe of Waterloo, George (Linda) Isley of Fergus, and John (Jackie) Isley of Kitchener. Sally is fondly remembered by her great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-niece and great-great-nephews. Visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where parish prayers will be held at 2 pm. Prayers will be offered from the funeral home on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 9:15 am followed by the mass of Christian Burial at St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill, at 10 am, Monday with Rev. Ronald Voison as celebrant. Interment at St. Boniface RC Cemetery followed by a reception at the Maryhill Community Centre.
