Obituary of Donald Lemke

<h1>Donald Lemke</h1> 1958 – 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Lemke announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the age of 50 years. He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his mother Dorothy Lemke, his sister Brigitte Lemke (Bryan) and by his niece Natasha Nancoff (Stefan). Don was predeceased by his father Helmut Lemke in 2006. Don grew up in Kitchener Waterloo and graduated from Wilfred Laurier University. During the past ten years Don lived in London where he owned and operated a sporting goods store. This was a perfect fit for him as he loved golf, fishing, hockey, running, swimming and especially cycling. Don was a world class athlete and competed in triathlon races around the world which took him to Britain, Australia, Hawaii, Thailand and many stops in North America including Kelowna, Boston and L. A. Spending time with his family was very important to Don where he loved to play Canasta and entertain family and friends in and around his pool and hot tub at his home in London. Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 12 noon to 12:45 followed by a funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. A reception will be held following the service.
