<h1>John "Jack" Baird</h1> 1932 - 2008 Passed away, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, December 1, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Cherished husband of Ruth. Beloved father of Jennifer Thrasher and husband David of Cambridge, Debbie Warnick and husband Michael, Suzanne Jacobi and husband David, Sharon Baird and husband Pat Forristal and Patricia Baird and husband Jack Couture all of Waterloo. Sadly missed by his 11 grandchildren, Chris, Sean, Adam, Jill, Darren, Brienne, Hayley, Alex, Mack, Victoria and Ashley; six great-grandchildren, and his brothers James and William Baird of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Alma Baird (nee Quehl) and his brother Robert. Friends are invited to share their memories of Jack with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday December 3, 2008 from 1-4 pm. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday December 4, 2008 at 1pm. Following the service everyone is invited to join the family in the Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit. A private interment at Parkview Cemetery will occur at a later date.
