<h1>Brian (Birney) Birnstihl</h1> 1957 – 2007 Unexpectedly, at his residence, on Wednesday, August 08, 2007, at age 49. Beloved husband and best friend of Janet, loving father of Brandon, Rebecca, Carmen, and Christopher; loved son of Ruth and the late Jack Birnstihl;dear brother of the late David and wife Dorothy, Paul and Diane, Keith and wife Joyce, and Lynn and husband Wayne Brohman; son-in-law of Monty and Dee Stapleton; brother-in-law of Peter Stapleton and Heather and Gordon Darlington. He also will be remembered by uncle Sheldon and aunt Doris Groce and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Brian was the owner/operator of Battery Wholesale in Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Birney with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Birney’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. with Marilyn Hollinger officiating. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
