<h1>Viola Ward</h1> Viola Elizabeth Ward died peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre in Waterloo on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in her 92nd year. She was born October 25, 1918 and baptized on Christmas Day of the same year. Wife of the late Alfred Ward (1975), whom she married on May 4, 1945. Predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Heinrich, her five siblings, Nelson, Alice (Schott),Vera, Dorothy, and Luella (Heier). She was also predeceased by a daughter Dorothy (1997) and a grandson Jed. Mourning her passing are sons Rev. Kenn (Diane), Camrose, Alberta and Larry (Kathy), Palatine, Illinois, three grandchildren Teri-Lyn (Russ) Skakum, and Jef, Winnipeg, and Kristopher, Palatine., and two great-grandsons, Zachary and Tyler Skakum, as well as her faithful friend Helen (Robert) Weber, Waterloo. A Memorial Service for Viola will be held at 3 pm on Monday, August 23, 2010 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 825 King St, W., Kitchener, with Rev. Nancy Kelly officiating. A private family committal service will precede the Memorial Service. Cremation has taken place.
