Obituary of Edna Ricketts

<h1>Edna Ricketts</h1> 1921 – 2009 Edna passed away, peacefully, after a brief illness, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, in her 89th year. For the past four months, Edna was a resident at Emmanuel Village in Kitchener. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Leo (Pat) Ricketts in 1999. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret (White) Webb, three sisters, Elizabeth Smith, Jean Buckton, and Mary Kerry, four brothers, Lawrence Walter, Roy and Ken Webb, as well as a sister and a brother in infancy. Edna was a longtime member of First United Church in Waterloo. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 2-4:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 4:30 pm. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room. Private interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
