<h1>Roy Vaillancourt</h1> 1946 – 2008 Passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s General Hospital on August 31, 2008 at the age of 62 years. Loving husband of Diane (nee Laframboise) for 38 years. Devoted father of Belinda Voisin (Mark) and Jodie Vaillancourt (Jason). Cherished grandfather of Nicholous, Sabrina, Samantha and Alyson. Roy was the longtime, brotherly friend of Joe Soulier (Anna). Sadly missed by his siblings, Marian (George), Peter, Sandra (Wayne), Debbie, Guy, Leanne (Uwe), Heather (Bill) and Tracy (Ferrin), sister-in-law Marilyn (Keith) Laframboise and nephew Todd. Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Mae Vaillancourt, brother Clayton, nephew Collin, and brother-in-law Cal. Roy retired after 32 years from Budd Canada and worked most recently for Commissionaires at Home Hardware in St. Jacobs. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate his life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Doug Kranz officiating. Reception will immediately follow at the Waterloo Legion Branch 530, 19 Regina St. N., Waterloo.
