<h1>Ruth Birnstihl</h1> Passed away, peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday August 30, 2007, at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Jack Birnstihl. Loving mother of the late David and his wife Dorothy, Paul and Diane, Keith and his wife Joyce, Lynn Brohman and her husband Wayne, and the late Brian and his wife Janet. Proud grandmother of Debbie, Kevin and Sandy; Stephanie and Dan; Erin and Bob; Ryan and Tara; Brandon and Rebecca. Survived by her brother Sheldon Groce and his wife Doris. Sadly missed by Chris, Michael and Kelly; Carmen and Christopher, as well as 16 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ruth with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m.. The Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Ruth’s life and faith will be held at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen Street East, Waterloo, on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Ray Reitzel C.R. as celebrant. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Following the committal service, friends are invited to join the family in the Funeral Home’s Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit.
