Obituary of Peter Smith

<h1>Peter Smith</h1> 1942 - 2007 After a courageous nine year battle with cancer, Peter Lawrence Wells “Larry” Smith of Waterloo passed away on Friday August 3, 2007 at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. His strength, courage and resolve have been an inspiration to us all. Beloved husband of 44 years to Donna Smith (nee MacGregor). Dearly loved father to Paul, Ian, Scott, Jerry and Don Smith. Cherished papa to 15 grandchildren. Larry will be sadly missed by his brothers, Jerry, Wayne, Dale, Rusty, Dwight and Matt; his sisters Dee Dee and Susan, and many dear friends. Born August 5, 1942 to Jerry and Joyce Smith in Guelph, Ontario, Larry completed his CPA at UCLA in California after leaving St. Jerome’s High School in Kitchener and had a long, successful career as an entrepreneur in sales and marketing. Friends are invited to share their memories of Larry with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday August 7, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Larry’s life will be held at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen Street East, Waterloo on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 12 noon with the Rev. Ray Reitzel, CR. as celebrant. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
