<h1>Ross Lederman</h1> Ross passed away, peacefully, on Friday, August 29, 2008 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener as the result of cancer. He endured his suffering with strength and humour. Ross was an employee at Ontario Seed Home Hardware for over 30 years. He enjoyed the staff and customers and the store was his second home. Ross was a gentle man who lived his life as he chose. He certainly enjoyed a “pint”, billiards, and all his friends at the Spur. He said “Life had given him a good seventy-eight years.” Ross is predeceased by his parents, Burton “Gamey” and Ida Lederman, sisters Joan Meunier, Erla Uffelman, niece Susan Schwalm, and brother-in-law Bob Copland. Ross is survived by his sister Doris Copland, brothers-in-law Dick Meunier and Bill Uffelman, nieces and nephews, Peter and Michael Copland, Cathy Plomske, Elizabeth Wing, Scott Uffelman, Michelle Pomeroy and David Meunier. The family would like to thank all the staff at Grand River and Freeport Hospitals for their care during his illness. A special thank you to Ron Berger. Cremation has taken place and the family is planning a private memorial service.
