<h1>Rory Macdonald</h1> Rory Andrew Macdonald 1994 – 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Rory Macdonald announces his passing on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the age of 15. Treasured son of the late Robert Macdonald (2004) and Kate Kennedy and her partner Harold Arnett. Rory will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters Lisa and Ruth; grandparents David Kennedy and Sandra Muir; aunts Marilyn, Sandra (Dan), Bonnie (John) and Nancy (Mike); his uncle David (Cindy); and by his cousins and his best friend Ian Carlaw. Predeceased by his grandparents George and Joan Macdonald. Rory grew up attending Elizabeth Ziegler Public School, Margaret Avenue Senior Public School and had completed his first year of high school at Kitchener Collegiate Institute. While at K.C.I. he was an active member of the music department, participating in Jazz Band, Concert Band and singing in the Male Chorus. He was an avid soccer player and he loved to play the guitar. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rory during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, September 2 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, September 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at First United Church, 16 William St. W., Waterloo on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 1 p.m. Reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rory’s memory may be made to Kitchener Collegiate Institute - Music Department and can be arranged through the funeral home, www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. In living memory of Rory a donation will be made to the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
