Obituary of Stella Schmidt

<h1>Stella Schmidt</h1> 1916-2009 Passed away on Monday, August 24th, 2009 at St. Mary’s General Hospital, age 93 years. Wife of the late Reuben Schmidt (1951). Survived by one daughter, Kathleen and her husband Larry Kaminska; two grandchildren, Douglas Kaminska and his wife Nancy, Karen Yantz and her husband Les; five great grandchildren, Becky and Kyle Kaminska and Cody, Ryan and Katlyn Yantz. Also survived by one sister, Glady and her husband Eldon Muegge and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John Bierman and his wife Lucinda (nee Schmidt), sisters, Idella Bierman, Verlie Cole, Hannah Toman, Nora and Alice Bierman, Florence and husband Oscar Beam. Mrs. Schmidt’s family will receive friends at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Following the visitation, a service to celebrate Stella’s life and faith will take place in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Kelly officiating. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home immediately after the service. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
