After a very brief hospital stay, Rod passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at age 61.
Beloved husband of Nancy for 41years; loving father of Carrie and Pamela; wonderful Papa of Zachary and Jacob, who were a joy to him every day of his life; dear brother of Alexander McNeil and Brenda Shelswell and loving Uncle. Also very near and dear to his heart were David Belli and Richard Nash.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Rod with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday August 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Wojciech Kuzma officiating. A committal service will follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Rd., Etobicoke, at 2 p.m.
