Obituary of Margaret Waites

<h1>Margaret Waites</h1> (Nee Walker) July 9, 1907 – August 22, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Waites wishes to give notice of her passing at St. Mary’s General Hospital. Marg was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon Waites (1986); her two sisters, Anne and Alma; her brother Dennis, and her parents Margaret and Joseph. She is survived by her much-loved immediate family: her only daughter, Lynne Schooley, of Waterloo, and her two granddaughters, Janet (Darren Steffen) and Tricia (Kevin Zamora) and the delight of her life, four dear great-grandchildren Emily and Adam Steffen and Carter and Dylan Zamora. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Eva Walker, and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Ontario, B.C. and Saskatchewan. To honour Marg’s express wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date in St. Catharines. Marg lives on in our hearts and minds, and will be with us always. The family wishes to thank all those who supported Marg during her stay these past two years at Victoria Place Retirement Residence and the special care that she received by Dr. Sehl while at St. Mary’s Hospital.
