<h1>Ilse Naese</h1> 1931 – 2008 Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, August 02, 2008, at age 77. Ilse immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1953. She spent 17 years living and working in Stratford while raising her family. From 1970 she resided in Kitchener where she was employed by Unitron Industries and then NCR. Ilse was passionate about gardening, curious about everything, and loved her afternoon cake and coffee. She possessed an amazing optimism about living. Beloved wife of the late Günter Naese; cherished mother of Olaf (Ann) of Waterloo and Christopher (Yvonne) of St. Charles, Illinois; dear grandmother of Chloe; sister of Klaus (Ingrid) Langner of Berlin, Germany; cousin of Inge Carter of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents Herrmann and Martha Langner and her niece Margrit Langner. Following cremation, a family gathering will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, to honour her life. Friends and neighbours of llse are invited to attend a cake and coffee reception at the funeral home on Saturday August 16, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Special thanks to the 6-B nurses at Grand River Hopsital for their caring attention to Ilse during her last 2 weeks. Thanks also to the CCAC and all the Comcare nurses and support workers who allowed her to remain in the home she loved so much.
