<h1>Marta Ribeiro</h1> 1931 – 2008 Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at age 76. Beloved wife of Joaquim (Jack) for 58 years; loved mother of Leonor and her husband, John Ferreira, Mary (Manuela) and her husband, Don Dentinger, Jenny and her husband, Gord Cork, Nelson Ribeiro and his wife, Helen; cherished grandmother of Serena (Gary), Amy (Dave), Shawn (Regina), Sherry, Tina (John), Jason, Jeremy, Emma, Zachary, Ethan, Gordy, and Steven; great-grandmother of Briana, Braeden, Gavin, Liam, Shelby, Katie, Justin, and Mikayla; and dear sister of Rui Valador and his late wife, Alzira. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marta with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Morning prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. which will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 300 Simeon St., Kitchener, with the Rev. Gabriel Catarino as Celebrant. Interment in Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener will be followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
