<h1>Phyllis Walton</h1> 1921 – 2009 Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Phyllis is survived by her two sons and their families, Phil and his wife Sonia of Waterloo and Neil and his wife Pam of Richmond BC and granddaughters Jennifer, Lesley, Stephanie and Vanessa. Phyllis is predeceased by her husband Norman Walton in 1963. Born in Montreal to Harold and Jean Lamb. Phyllis married Norman during the Second World War. Together they lived in many locations throughout Canada and were living in Winnipeg at the time of Norman’s death. Phyllis remained in Winnipeg for 40 years until moving closer to her family here in Waterloo in 2003. She will be dearly missed by her family and her friends at Bankside Terrace. Cremation and a private family service will be held with interment in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal at a later date. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Bankside Terrace, the nurses in I.C.U. and the 7th floor of St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Phyllis.
