<h1>Lorne Ross</h1> Lorne passed away at Lanark Heights Long Term Care Centre in Kitchener on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the age of 85. Born in Vankleek Hill, Ontario on October 18, 1924. Survived by his wife Jeannine Ross (nee Becker), son Craig Ross of Waterloo, sister-in-law Bernice Geiger, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Fred and Marion (nee Carkner) Ross; brothers, Stuart Ross and Ken Ross, both from Vankleek Hill; and brother-in-law, Ed Geiger. Lorne was employed for many years in industrial sales and was a life member of The Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was also a member of the Golden Triangle Rose and Garden Society and the Waterloo Horticultural Society. He was a member of Zion United Church in Kitchener for over 40 years. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Lorne during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, August 14 from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3 p.m., Saturday with Rev. Charlotte Moore officiating. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room. Private family interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
