<h1>Elsie Simpson</h1> 1921 – 2008 Elsie passed away peacefully, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Wednesday April 9, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Elsie will once again be united with her beloved husband Robert who passed away in July 2002. She was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter Lynn Schrader and her husband Hal. Nana will be remembered and greatly missed by her grandchildren Melissa and Kyle Schrader. Elsie is also predeceased by her sister Margaret Weicker and her husband Samuel as well as her step brother Clayton Cress. Elsie will be missed by her many friends at the Village of Winston Park where she resided for the past five years. Elsie was the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Arts and Science of Wilfred Laurier University, upon her retirement. She had been a member of Laurier’s staff for more than 25 years. Elsie was also an active and dedicated member of St Matthew’s Lutheran Church for more than 65 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Elsie with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, today, Thursday April 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 54 Benton Street, Kitchener, from 12 noon to 12:45 followed by the service at 1 pm. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener. All are welcome back to the church for a time of fellowship and reception.
