After a long and satisfying life, Gil passed away peacefully on April 7, 2008.
Gil was a good man, a devoted and loving husband, and father. He lived for his kids and was proud of their accomplishments.
Gil will be sadly missed by his wife, Dorothy, and his three children, Bev, Bill and Stu, and their spouses Ralph, Vicki and Debbie. Pappa will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Barb, RJ, Debbie, Darryl, Kristy, and Kirk, and his great-grandchildren, Reilly, James, Jacqueline, Kassi, Jadyn, Ashten and Trace. Gil is survived by sisters Lil, Winnie, Edna, and Shirley, and predeceased by his first wife Fanny Whitlock; brothers Ken, and Bobby, and sisters Grace, Margaret, Dorothy and Evelyn
Family would like to thank the staff of St Mary's Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Gil with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 1 - 2:45 p.m., with the memorial service following in the chapel at 3 p.m., Major Dale Pilgrim officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Pine Hill Cemetery, Toronto.
