Passed away, peacefully, at Lanark Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener, on April 6, 2007 at the age of 77 years.
She will be mourned and missed by her husband John; by her daughter, Julie and her husband Colin Walker of London and her son, Tim of California; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica and Madison; her sisters, Alma and her husband Mike Werner of Waterloo and Kathe Schutz of Michigan; by her many nephews and nieces in Canada, the U.S.A. and Germany and by her relatives through marriage and her many friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Friedrich and Julianna Schneider, and her sisters, Adele Herter and Helene Heine.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Wanda with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Wandas life will be held at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 47 Sheldon Avenue North, Kitchener, on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Walter Hambrock officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Breslau. Following the committal service, friends are invited to join the family back at the Church Fellowship Hall for refreshments and a time to visit.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff that were involved in Wandas care at the K-W Health Centre, the Freeport Health Centre, Lanark Heights LTC as well as the caregivers from the WeCare Health Services and the volunteers from the Hospice of Waterloo for their kindness and compassion.
