<h1>Dorothy Shantz</h1> (nee Dennison) At Parkwood Mennonite Home in Waterloo, after a lengthy illness, with her sister Iris and friends Norm Johnstone and Annick Charberet at her side, on April 4, 2007. Daughter of the late Alfred Wesley Dennison and Lillian May Wiltse. Predeceased by her husband Walter Earl Shantz. Also predeceased by sisters Elaine Dennison and Evelyn Jarolimek and a brother William Alfred Dennison. She is survived by her sister and best friend Iris Dennison of Waterloo. She is also survived by a niece Bonnie Irwin of Markham and two great-nephews Sean Irwin and his wife Soo-Ah Irwin of Toronto and Dr. Darryl Irwin, also of Toronto. Dorothy was an elementary school teacher with the Waterloo County Board of Education before her retirement. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 11 am. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment will follow the reception at Elmira Union Cemetery.
