<h1>Robert Chadder</h1> Bob died unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home, Wednesday, April 30, 2008, after a long and full life. He was 94. Beloved husband of Norma (Kaufman), who predeceased him June 23, 2005 after nearly 68 years of marriage. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Penny and her husband Carl Young of Waterloo; daughter-in-law Ruthann Zinkan and her husband Peter of Kimberley; grandchildren Christopher Chadder and his wife Lynn, Merrilee Chadder and her husband Oliver Stoll, Andrea and her husband Jerome Feuiltault, Brett Young and Jennifer Snider and great-grandchildren, Philip and Stephanie Chadder and Savannah and Dahlia Stoll. He is also survived by his brother Ed Chadder and his wife Jean and sister-in-law Margaret Eby of Waterloo. He was predeceased by his son Bob Jr. in January 1997 and parents Henrietta (Head) and Stanley Chadder. Bob and his brother Ed owned and operated the Waterloo Hotel which was founded by their father Stanley in 1933. He was a charter member and past president of the Waterloo Lions Club, past president of the Waterloo Club, a member of Church of the Holy Saviour, Westmount Golf and Country Club and a former member of the Waterloo Masonic Lodge. For many years, Bob and Norma enjoyed winters in Florida and summers at their cottage in Port Elgin. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm. A funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 11 am. Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home for refreshments and a time to visit with the family. Cremation has taken place. Condolences for the family and donations to St. Mary’s General Hospital Cardiac Care Centre or Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may arranged through the funeral home, www.erbgood.com or 519.745.8445.
