Obituary of Lillian Harrison

<h1>Lillian Harrison</h1> (nee Carruthers) 1921 – 2008 Lillian passed away, peacefully, at The WestMount in Kitchener, on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Ralph Harrison in 1992, her son George in 1978, her son-in-law James (Duffy) Dufton in 2006, her parents Edward and Annie (Riehl) Carruthers, her sisters Evelyn Mussar, Florence Ueberschlag and a sister in infancy, and her brother Edward Carruthers. She was the last surviving member of her family. Lillian is survived by her daughter Sharon Dufton of Kitchener and her fiancé Bill Nipper, daughter-in-law Marie Harrison and her family, granddaughter Virginia Penner and her husband Dan, and three great-grandchildren Christopher Martin, Brad Penner and Elizabeth (Liz) Penner. Also remembered by Bill Nipper’s family. Visitation will be held at First Mennonite Church, 800 King St. E., Kitchener, on Friday, May 2, 2008 from 7-9 pm and will continue at the church on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 1-2 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Lillian’s life will follow at the church at 2 pm, Saturday. Interment at First Mennonite Cemetery. Reception will follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the House of Friendship or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
