With saddened hearts the family of Jean Alice Chadder announces her passing on Thursday April 29, 2010, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener.
Beloved wife and soul mate of 64 years to Edward. Wonderful, caring mother of Terry (Rika) of Calgary, David (Margaret) of Calgary and Sandra (Bill Roffey) of Huntsville. Cherished grandma to Megan and Matthew Chadder and Trevor and Scott Roffey. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Ruth Dahmer and Margaret Bridge and her brother Howard Cress.
Jean, born in Kitchener in 1923, was an enthusiastic golfer (an exceptional putter and good sport), and bridge player at the Westmount G.C.C.; an avid Blue Jays fan and member of Holy Saviour Anglican Church, Waterloo. Jean loved her winters in the south to play golf and holiday with her family.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Jean with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, May 2, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday May 3 at 11 a.m. The Venerable Peter T. Townshend officiating.
Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
Following the interment everyone is invited back to the funeral home for a reception and a chance to meet with the family.
