<h1>Raymond Vance</h1> July 31, 1929 – April 29, 2008 Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital in his 79th year. Survived by his sisters, Ruth Rockwell (John), Alice Cox and sister-in-law Joan Vance. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Caroline Vance; sisters, Gladys Egerdeen and Marg Cousins; brothers Earl, Clifford, Harold, Mervyn, Harvey and Grant; and sister-in-law Elaine Vance. A memorial service will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2 p.m., friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Ray may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and can be arranged through the funeral home, www.erbgood.com., 519-745-8445. In living memory of Ray a donation will be made to the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
