<h1>Bryson "Spike" Kearns</h1> 1917 – 2007 The family is sad to announce the passing of Spike Kearns on Sunday April 29, 2007. Spike passed away at the age of 89 years to join his beloved wives Ann Lang Kearns, deceased September 1972 and Frances Young (nee Smith), deceased October 1996 and his sister Mary Padden of Toronto. He will be forever missed and remembered by his children Bryan (Joyce), Terry, Barry (Karen) and his grandchildren Jamie, Kris, Marty, Maggie, Drew, Sarah and Jessie. He is especially remembered by Mrs. Mary Witzel. Spike leaves behind his step-children Frank (Diana) Young of Ottawa, Gerry Young of Toronto and Michelle (Jean Pierre) of Orlando, Florida. Special thanks to the nursing staff and doctors in the Emergency Department, Surgery Department, ICU and CCU of the Grand River Hospital. Friends are invited to share their memories of Spike with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Spike’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday May 3, 2007 at 2 pm. Cremation will take place.
