<h1>Fred Taylor</h1> 1937 – 2008 Peacefully, in the presence of loved ones, at Lisaard House on Monday, April 28, 2008 at the age of 70. Beloved husband for 26 years to Marilyn Jean Taylor (nee James). Loving father of Richard (Shelly) of Kitchener and Rob (Joanne) of Kitchener. Stepfather of Ron Toebes of North Bay and Amy Usher of Cambridge. Grandfather to Brianna, Jennifer, Brittany, Brock, Amber and Tia. Dear nephew of Len (Kay) Taylor of Windsor and Ruth (Bill) Chichekian of Florida and their families. He also leaves behind sisters and brothers-in-law Judith (Brian) Campbell of Cambridge and Carol (Bill) Cardinell of Freelton. Fred was the last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Edna May of London as well as his beloved sister, Janice also of London. Fred, fully retired, had been an active member of the K-W Oldtimer hockey association for 10 years until health reasons forced him to retire from active participation. He was also an avid fan and follower of the Detroit Tigers, traveling each year to Detroit to watch “His Tigers”. At retirement, Fred had been with the Grand River Transit as a bus driver for 16 years. He had also worked as a baker for Dutch Boy Foods for a number of years. Friends and family will be received at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, May 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11 am. A reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, or Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family.
