<h1>Velma Burgetz</h1> (nee EPP) 1931 – 2007 Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital, on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Velma volunteered for many years at St. Mary’s Hospital and was an active member of Stirling Mennonite Church. Besides her beloved husband Reginald of 50 years, Velma is survived by her children, John and his wife Cindy Burgetz and Kathy and her husband Dennis Boese, as well as her grandchildren John and Michael Burgetz, and Rachel and Greg Boese. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Alvin, Richard, John, Art, Edwin, Elsie, Eleanor and Lillian and their families. She was predeceased by her brother Clarence. Friends are invited to share their memories of Velma with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, May 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, 57 Stirling Ave. North, Kitchener on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 10:30 am with Pastor Kevin Peters-Unrau officiating. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener and a reception will follow the graveside service at the church.
