Bernie Helsby passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at K-W Health Centre at age 84.
Beloved husband of Jean and loving father to John, Garry and his wife Pauline, and Paul and his wife Angela. He lived long enough to be Granpa to seven happy grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, Michael, Lisa, Erin, Sarah and Claire and was much loved by them all. Bernie was born in Wimbledon, England and served four years in the Royal Navy. As a member of the Waterloo Tennis Club, Bernie loved his tennis and he often displayed his famous drop shot.
A private family service will be held.
