Passed away, at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo, on April 25, 2007 at the age of 95 years.
Beloved wife of the late Clare E. Pflug (1979). Loving mother of Frederick and his wife Joyce of Guelph, Joan Gross and her husband James of Breslau, Edwin and his wife Elizabeth of Chatham, Thomas and his wife Marjorie of Mississauga, David and his wife Hanni of Kitchener, Susan Hunter and her husband James of Orillia, Paul and his wife Carol of Guelph and John and his wife Marietta of Waterloo. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Predeceased by her parents Wilfred Edwin Mitchell and Selina Agnes Ernst; daughters Joyce Carol (1946) and Audrey Elizabeth (1979); grandson Scott Andrew (1977); sisters Violet Steffen and Pearl Medhurst and brothers Edward and William.
Lily resided on Bridgeport Road, Waterloo for 60 years until recently moving to Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo, and was an active member of Parkminster United Church.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Lily with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Friday, April 27, 2007 from 7-9 pm. Visiting will continue on Saturday , April 28 from 10 10:45 am. followed by the service in the funeral home chapel at 11 am. concluding with the committal, with Rev. Peter Moffat officiating. Following the service, friends are invited to join the family in the Funeral Home's Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit.
Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
