<h1>Danusia Zrebiec</h1> 1954 – 2008 Went peacefully to the Lord with her family at her side in the home in her 53rd year. After a brief illness, Danusia made her transition to everlasting life. Beloved wife of 29 years to Zdzislaw (Ziggy), loving and cherished mother to her daughter, Danika and loving sister of Maria and Jan Szelest, and Bozena Kordek. Loving daughter of Teresa Kordek and daughter-in-law of Helena Zrebiec from Poland. Dear sister-in-law to Jerzy and Halina Zrebiec, Andrzej and Anna Zrebiec, Anna and Jozef Hrynczyszyn, Malgorzata and Janusz Pomaranski, Jacek and Malgorzata Zrebiec, all from Kitchener-Waterloo, and Ala and Andrzej Janiak, Ludmila and Andrzej Zielinski, Daniel and Mariola Zrebiec, and Dorota and Daniel Krezel from Poland and England. Dear auntie Danusia to many nieces and nephews in Canada, Poland and England. She will be missed by many cousins, uncles and aunties. Predeceased by her father, Marian Kordek (1983) and her father-in-law, Jan Zrebiec (2006). Danusia was born December 29, 1954 in Poland, educated and lived there until 1986. In 1979 she married Zdzislaw. In 1986, they both came to Canada and in 1987 their beloved daughter Danika was born. Danusia was recently employed at St. Paul's College in Waterloo where she worked with dedication. She was always there with a smile on her face and had nothing to say but good things. Danusia's family will welcome friends at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. The memorial service with a celebration of Danusia's life will be held at 4 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Reception will follow at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (donation cards available at funeral home).
