<h1>Stephen Cormier</h1> 1923 - 2010 Passed away at The Village of Winston Park Nursing Home, Kitchener, on Friday April 23, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Steve was a member of the North Nova Scotia Highlanders and served five years during the Second World War. He was a proud veteran and never forgot his comrades who did not come home. He enjoyed many years of golf and was always ready for a game of euchre or cribbage. He will be sadly missed by his children Robert Lowther (Sue), Linda Turkalj (Frank), Patricia Tomlinson (Joe), Suzanne Cormier, Gail Sider (Rodney) and Carol Markus (Percy); thirteen grandchildren eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; as well as his sister Anne Rieck (Bill) Predeceased by his wife Marion “Betty” (nee Stewart), his parents James and Aleda Cormier and by eleven brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, April 25, from 7-9 p.m. Friends are invited to share in a celebration of Stephen’s life with his family in the chapel of the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today, April 26, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room at the Funeral Home. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
