1967 - 2008
Passed suddenly on Monday, April 21, 2008 in his 40th year. He battled Juvenile Diabetes for several years.
Dearly loved and will be sorely missed by his mother, Lois Millar and her husband Bud Witter and his father, Peter Millar and his wife Louise. His brother Jon Millar (Patti), Louises children Heidi (Craig), Stephen (Darlene), Jon (Michelle) Vanderkolff, and Buds children, Steven (Marianne) and Chris (Carin) Witter will mourn his loss. Jeffrey leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family and many friends.
Predeceased by a brother at birth and his grandparents, Al and Grace Parsons and Hanley and Mary Millar.
Jeffrey left us in his home away from home, San Francisco, California where he worked and had a strong relationship with many co-workers and friends. His contribution to Vignette Corporation was legendary and passionate. His command and use of the English language was captivating and his recall incredible. He lived life with a flare and loved his life in San Francisco. Jeffrey viewed the world with a wry intellect and a humorous point of view. His characterizations of movies, world events, and personalities were keen and accurate. He was a graduate of the University of Waterloo as well as Forest Heights Collegiate.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Jeffrey during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Jeffreys life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be welcomed at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society.
His time with us was too short a season and his memory will bloom forever in our hearts.
