<h1>Margaret Boettger</h1> Nee: (NEU) 1922 – 2008 Passed away at A.R. Goudie Eventide Home, Kitchener on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Margaret was born February 3, 1922 in Jimbolia Romania and immigrated to Canada in 1929. In 1942 she married Ormond Carl Boettger. Outside her primary focus on family and home, for many years she was active in Trinity United Church as a Sunday School teacher, in the Mr. and Mrs. Club and with the 6th Kitchener Scouts Ladies Auxiliary. Along with Orm she was a long term member of the Trillium Travellers Camping Club including being on the executive and helping with Operation Wheelchair. In later years she was a member of Rockway Seniors Centre. Her interests included camping and travel, extensive reading, family history, gardening, playing cards with family and friends and doing crafts of various sorts. Margaret is survived by her sister, Mary Stericker of Toronto; sons, Dave of Kitchener; Bob and wife Libby of New Brunswick; grandchildren, Jennifer Garnier and husband Chris of Goderich; Heather Murphy and husband Mick of Kitchener, Ryan Boettger of Goderich, Kirsten Snyder and husband Ralph of Yellowknife and Christopher Boettger of Yellowknife and her 7 great grandchildren, Kyle Garnier of Goderich; Meghan, Erin, Hannah and Connor Murphy of Kitchener, Cullen Snyder of Yellowknife and Jenna Thomas of Kitchener. She was predeceased by her husband Orm Boettger, son Jim Boettger, parents Joseph and Elisabeth Neu, brother Adam, and sisters Margareta, Magdalena (Helen) and Anna. Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 5-9 pm. Cremation will follow. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25 at 3 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Paleczny of Trinity United Church officiating. A private family interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
