Obituary of John Wright

<h1>John Wright</h1> Passed away peacefully, in his 86th year at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on April 19th, 2009. Son of the late Elsie and William Wright. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee May), for 64 years, they were married in Aldershot England in 1946. Father of Barry (Janet), Waterloo and William (Marly), Newfoundland. Grandfather to Colin (Samantha), Cambridge, Andrea (Don), London, Ontario; Natalie and Spencer Wright, (at home) and great-grandfather to Cameron Wright. John was a Second World War veteran, serving with the Toronto Scottish Regiment. Retired from Electrohome, Kitchener. Member of The Canadian Legion, Local # 171, (Waterloo) and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for many years. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
