<h1>George Tuckwood</h1> 1930 – 2007 Passed away peacefully with his daughters at his side, at Freeport Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, April 19, 2007, at the age of 76 years. Loving dad of Laurie and her husband Richard Kenney, Wendy and her husband James DeJonge and Jennifer Tuckwood. Papa was much loved by his five grandchildren, Caleb, Kirsten, Zachary, Joshua and Matthew. He will also be remembered by his companion and close friend Peg Seller of Grand Bend. Dear brother of Lillian Boehm, Kenneth Tuckwood and Marie Bruder. Thank you to our mother, Carol Tuckwood, for her loving care of our father during these difficult last months. Predeceased by his parents William and Ada, daughter Brenda, brothers Albert and Matthew, sisters Jessie, Ada and Violet. For many years George worked as a brick mason. At one time during his work career he was a member of the Waterloo Regional Police Service. His life-long passion for golf, led to his part in the development and construction of Foxwood Golf Club as well as other projects.
