<h1>Mildred Mulligan</h1> 1915 – 2008 Passed away peacefully, at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at the age of 92 years. Born July 23, 1915 in Roosevelt, Manitoba to parents Harry and Helena Jarman, Mildred was raised in southern Manitoba until she met and married Hugh in 1937. When Hugh left to serve overseas in 1942, Mildred was left to raise three young boys on her own. Hugh returned to Canada and remained in the Armed Forces at which point life for the family involved many relocations throughout Canada. Mildred and Hugh retired in Waterloo in 1966 to be close to family and became active in St. Agnes parish, the Waterloo Legion, and local bowling. Predeceased by Hugh in 1988. Mildred is survived by her sons, Ken (wife Wilma) of Chilliwack, BC., Larry (wife Janet) of Waterloo and Bill (wife Judy) of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren, Russ (Cindy), Danny, Tracy Bennett (Chris), Rob (Kim), Steve (Cathy), Tina Westervelt (Steve), Chris (Jen), and Tim (Christina). Mildred was very proud of her nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Survived by one brother Larry Jarman and one sister Betty Kemp (Lee). Besides her husband, Mildred was predeceased by brothers, Stewart, Tom, Jack, and Bill and sister, Doreen Foubister. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held with interment at Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the C.N.I.B. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
