1933 - 2007
Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital after a lengthy illness, on Thursday April 12, 2007. Arnold was in his 74th year.
Beloved husband of 46 years of Frances (nee Tschirhart). Loving father of Bradley (Sharon), and Bruce (Kathy). He will be remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Sara, Michael, Christopher, Kevin, and Kali. Arnold is also survived by his sister, Emily, brothers, Robert (Dorothy), and John.
Arnold was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Emily McKie; brother, Hugh and sister, Donalda.
Many thanks to the staff and residence at Lanark Nursing Home for their care in the past year. Also many thanks to the staff at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital who helped keep Arnold comfortable and were a great help to the family.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Arnold with his family during a memorial service at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kevin Walrath officiating. Reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
