<h1>Dorothy Howe</h1> 1921 – 2010 Surrounded by her loving family, Dorothy passed away peacefully, at home on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the age of 88. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Cy in 1993 and her parents Leander and Christina Reinhart (nee Schnurr). Dorothy will remain forever in the hearts of her children Gary (Marianne) Howe, Barry (Bonnie) Howe, Debbie Dietrich, Wendy (Ken) Mielke; her grandchildren Graham Howe, Emily Forde (Paul), Miranda Rejesky (Rob), Michael Rejesky, Laura Wright (Darren), Adam Dietrich (Joyce), Meaghan Dietrich (Chris), Jay Mielke (Amber) and Jenna Kerr (David); as well as her great-grandchildren Emelia, Abbi, Tristan, Ethan, Addison and Peyton. She is also survived by her sister Helen Kunda and sister-in-law Olga Dark. Dorothy was born in Kitchener and worked with her father at K-W’s first taxi service, Cluett and Peabody (Arrow Shirts), Canada Revenue in the Income Tax Office as well as Roylco. She will be dearly missed by her family and will be remembered for keeping a special place in her heart for all animals. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dorothy with her family during a memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 7-9 pm. A service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday, April 15 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
