<h1>Guy Carruthers</h1> 1929 – 2009 Guy passed away peacefully at the Saint Mary’s General Hospital on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Guy was a generous, loving and gentle man in his 80th year and will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Guy is survived by his loving wife Jean (nee Darlington) of Waterloo and his two sons, Richard wife Danielle from Montreal and Mark wife Susan from Waterloo and his sister Dianne (Lorne) Sweeney from Rawdon, Quebec. He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Julie from Montreal and Rob and Andrew from Waterloo. Guy will be sadly missed by many other extended family and friends, all of whom could not help but be touched by his love, generosity and sense of humour. He truly was an inspiration to all that had the good fortune of sharing time with him. Relatives and friends are welcome to share memories of Guy during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday evening, April 13, 2009 from 7-9 and Tuesday afternoon, April 14, 2009 from 1:30 to 2:30 at the First United Church, 16 William Street West, Waterloo. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM. at the church. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the 6th floor at St. Mary’s.
